Straight-through and Stop Joints for Oil-filled Cables

Our straight-through joints (type OM) and stop joints (type OS, OSF) for oil-filled cables are available up to 420 kV and a cross-section up to 2000 mm2. One major advantage of the oil-filled joint design supplied by Brugg Cables is that the windings are pre-fabricated in our factory in a clean, dry environment. After pre-fabrication, the windings are taken to the construction site in airtight containers. This enables exceptionally clean windings which cannot absorb humidity.
