Transition Joints

With transition joints (type TOS, TOSF) it is possible to join any type of oil-filled cable to a polymer cable. TOS and TOSF joints are available up to 420 kV and a cross-section up to 2500 mm2. On the polymer end, our TOS joints benefit from the outstanding properties of the silicone rubber (SiR), such as exceptionally high dielectric strength, components with a long service life, a huge temperature range or excellent elastic properties during installation and operation. The advantages on the paper cable end are the positive properties of the windings pre-fabricated in the factory.
