The Compound business unit is a small but innovative unit within BRUGG CABLES. We specialize in the production of EPR insulation compounds for cable applications up to 150 kV in addition to foamed and liquid-loaded carriers based on various thermoplastics.
These products are manufactured at our plant in Brugg, from where they are dispatched all over the world. We work in close collaboration with agents and distributors worldwide.
Our aim is not only to supply compounds and masterbatches but also to assist our customers in the introduction of new products and processes. This includes on-site support regarding the process parameters to be used and recommendations about appropriate materials.
Our extensive expertise and many years of experience gained in compounds for cable manufacture are used to the benefit of our customers. Our products are supported by sophisticated R&D programs. The materials used are subject to strict testing which extends from the raw materials to the finished product.
